Due to the higher altitude and the cool alpine breezes, the wines of Alpes de Haute Provence are renowned for their pale pink colour, freshness, and elegance when compared to their coastal Provence rosé counterparts.
La Tonnelle is a blend of 60% Grenache, 25% Syrah, and 15% Cinsault, grown at a high altitude (~700m) on clay and limestone soils. It has a dry, crisp, mineral-driven profile with vibrant strawberry, raspberry, white peach, and wild 'garrigue' French herb aromas. This is a savoury, complex, gourmand rosé.
