Restrained aromas of green apple, celery, flint and oyster-shell minerality lead to rather more accessible flavours on the palate with the addition of white peach, vanilla pod and a hint of salted caramel. Mid-weight and showing a touch of spicy oxidative development already for such a young wine, this is instantly approachable and has fairly good concentration mid-palate before fading to expose a dry, chalky finish.
