Generous, dark-fruited, and silky-smooth, while remaining (for now) great value for money, since the early 2000's Primitivo has steadily grown to become one of the most exported reds in all of Italy.

We think Maestro delivers exactly what you'd want from the style. Ripe, mouth-filling black cherry, blackberry and plum compote lead into notes of cocoa, violet and baking spice. The palate is full and velvety, balanced with fresh acidity to carry the abundance of fruit through to a long, satisfying finish.
