La Famille is a family of wines showcasing the most iconic wines of the world; Chardonnay from Burgundy, Chenin Blanc from Vouvray, Montepulciano from Abruzzo, Tempranillo from Rioja and even Sparkling Shiraz from Barossa.

The 2024 La Famille Vouvray (Chenin Blanc) has been sourced directly from top Chenin Blanc makers Francois-Xavier Barc and Gerald Vallée, both generational winemakers from the Loire Valley.

Designation: Vouvray AOC

Sourced from a single vineyard in the Vouvray appellation of the Loire Valley, where the soils are clay and limestone and the average vine age is 30 years, this Chenin Blanc was vinified in stainless steel tanks but aged on fine yeast lees for 7 months to build weight and texture. 

Beautifully aromatic and textural, yet with tension and finesse, this wine has aromas of peach, pineapple and honeysuckle and all the textbook flavours of green apple, citrus and quince, and even some subtle notes of beeswax, lanolin and bergamot! A complex wine that's equally luscious yet refreshing.
