2023 Brood Fermentation 'Forager' Chardonnay

A new cuvee for us! Chardonnay from the Weka Vineyard. 

Chardonnay has always been in small quantities for us at the Weka vineyard, usually just enough to make our white blend-Pollen. For the harvest of 2023 we saw a good enough crop to ferment a small amount of Chardonnay on its own, this is the result! Whole-bunch pressed and fermented in large format oak. Floral, salty, textural and delicious. We are so proud of this wine and feel it is a great showcase of what this beautiful vineyard has to offer.
