Clin d'Oeil is an incredibly interesting one - is it a white wine, an orange wine or a rosé? It had us asking, so let us explain and you can decide for yourself.
75% Chardonnay, with 10 days skin-contact, blended with 25% Gamay Noir, which has been direct-pressed (no skin-contact). It's pale pink/light orange in appearance, has beautiful apricot/stonefruit flavours, and is fine, delicate and chalky. It drinks with the fruitfulness of a rosé, the acidity of a white, and the texture of an orange!
Oh, and did we mention it's from Burgundy? It breaks pretty much every appellation control rule, hence its 'Vin de France' classification.
