This is Nacho's top red wine, full name "O Poulo - Fillo da Pedra" ("O Poulo, Son of Rock"). It's a blend of approximately 95% Garnacha Tintorera and 5% Palomino from his highest elevation vineyards at around 600m. Hand harvested, fermented in stainless steel and then matured in aged French oak, this is La Perdida's richest red, with tons of plum, cassis and cherry.
This wine is pure, intense and particularly concentrated, yet remains gentle and fresh all the same - the reds from La Perdida all seem to all have power, body and concentration in droves yet remain delicate, fine and detailed.
