From Udy's Road vineyard in Piccadilly which was planted in 1983. 520m altitude, Western aspect, all I10V1 clone, on light loamy clay over sandstone soils with extensive schist and quartz.
Biodynamically farmed, hand harvested, whole bunch pressed, settled overnight, then racked into barrel for 11 months. Full malolactic fermentation in French oak, approx 25% new.
Beautifully clean and clearly settled then bottled unfiltered, unfined and under natural cork and wax.
Everyday Wine has a tiny allocation of 6 bottles only! Run, don't walk!
