Yep, this might be Mosse's 'biggest' red but this wine remains one of the lightest reds by comparison to just about anywhere else. One glass and there's no doubting this wine hails from the Loire Valley. Le Gros is a blend of Grolleau Noir (50%), Gamay Noir (20%) and Grolleau Gris (30%).
Fine, chalky, almost talcy tannins. Savoury, brambly red fruits. Serve this one slightly chilled. This one is as thirst quenching as night water.
Le Gros is an Everyday Wine retail exclusive. This wine can only be bought from us (in New Zealand, at least).
