2016 Sébastien Riffault Auksinis Maceration

'Auksinis Maceration' is the 1-month skin-contact version of Auksinis ("Gold"), which is a 50% botrytis-influenced Sauvignon Blanc, from silex (flint) soils, fermented to dry and matured in barrique for 36 months. Auksinis is truly profound in the sense that is offers such richness, concentration and sweetness of fruit but all the while retains great acidity, freshness and is actually dry on the finish. More opulent and rounded than Saulétas (also 50% botrytis influence).
