100% Macabeu.
Estate grown and made by Amós from a 2 hectare block which was planted in 1989 by his grandfather. Hillside site, limestone soils, approx. 250m altitude.
The grapes were hand-harvested and then slowly basket-pressed (allowing some skin contact) into stainless steel. The wine has some richness and texture, balanced by a lightness, vitality and freshness. Bottled unfiltered, unfined and with no added sulphites - these wines are clean, stable and incredibly well made.
