Proscrito is a clarete (a light chilled red of white and red grape varieties) from more than a dozen parcels around Serdur and Larouco that were planted between 1940 and 1965. From mostly granite soils ranging from 500 to 600m in elevation, this wine strikes an incredible balance of lightness and flavour, with an approximate blend of 90% Palomino (the white variety found mostly in Sherry/Jerez) and 10% Garnacha Tintorera. A light pale pink hue from just 5 days of maceration before being pressed into aged French oak. This is a bright and refreshing chilled red, with a intense aromatics and acidity, and bright cherry, strawberry and raspberry fruit.
