From Ric's vineyard in Ashton which was planted in 1996. 500m altitude, Northern aspect, all I10V1 clone, on light loamy clay over sandstone soils with extensive schist and quartz.
Biodynamically farmed, hand harvested, whole bunch pressed, settled overnight, then racked into barrel for 11 months. Full malolactic fermentation in a combination of French and Austrian oak, approx 25% new.
Beautifully clean and clearly settled then bottled unfiltered, unfined and under natural cork and wax.
