2019 Amoise Cabernet Franc by winemaker Amy Farnsworth. Organically farmed fruit from the William Murdoch vineyard in Gimblett Gravels (Hawkes' Bay) which was then hand harvested and destemmed (so whole berry, no stems or stalks) and 1/3 fermented by way of carbonic maceration. All wild fermented too with natural indigenous yeasts. This wine is typical Cabernet Franc in terms of medium body and mid-weight, but still fresh fruited and juicy. Nice fine, long, chalky tannins.
Unfiltered, unfined, no additions of any sort including no added sulphites. Just 800 bottles made.
