This is from the exceptional Two Terraces vineyard (Mangatahi) and is 3rd year in conversion to certified organic. I was on a waiting list to get allocated a tiny bit of fruit so was happy to get some! There are only 4.8ha of Chenin planted in Hawke’s Bay in total.
This is one of my longest fermenting wines (from harvest throughout winter!) and has tropical fruit notes of guava, mango with Green apple and dry razor finish.
