Els Vinyerons, is a partnership between Amôs Bañeres and Alex Ruiz, owner of a larger, organic estate growing mostly Xarel-lo and small amounts of Tempranillo and Grenache.
Saltamarti (cricket) - Still red from approx 90% Tempranillo, 10% Grenache - destemmed and fermented in stainless steel (seperately), short maceration on skins, aged in used French oak barrels, and blended with approx 10% reserve wine from previous year.
Saltamarti is not your typical Spanish red. It's lighter, softer and juicier than anything else going. Not big, high in alcohol or jammy but rather fruitful, savoury and fine.
