2017 Mas Théo T.O. Grenache Syrah
T.O. is a 50-50 blend of Grenache and Syrah and is the slightly more serious red to the Le P'tit Gaby, also produced by Mas Théo. It's dark-fruited and brambly and shows a bit more of that Grenache weight we love and expect from the South of France.
The wine is grown and made by Laurent Clapier, who took over his family's Demeter certified Biodynamic estate with 33 hectares under vine and a further 39 hectares of meadows and lavender in 1999.
All of the Mas Théo wines are Demeter certified Biodynamic, wild fermented and unfined. Vegan too. Being a larger organic producer from a lesser known growing region, these wines are great value but without any compromise in terms of how they are grown.
